Sultan Qaboos Mosque is probably the most beautiful mosque in Oman. It is the main mosque of the country.
It has the biggest chandelier in the world with a weight of 8.5 tons. The mosque, has the capacity to house 20,000 worshipers. It can be visited by non muslims from Saturday to Thuresday 08:00 to 11:00 am. Women should wear appropriate clothes and all visitors have their head covered.
